Warzone Season 4 update is now officially on the way. An official announcement has been released by Activision! According to the Call of Duty blog, the upcoming update will introduce a ton of new content which includes new characters and an expansion to the Vondel Map. The Vondel battle royale map has gained popularity, making it one of the most played battle royale maps in the game.
The new update is named “Reloaded” and is set to arrive on the 12th of July. Both Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 are both undergoing a massive content development since the 14th of July. The Reloaded update is another massive update that is going to be released parallel to the ongoing content development phase. Through all the drama that Activision is facing right now, we are quite happy to report something “game-Worthy”.
What’s new in the Warzone Season 4 Update?
The Boys are coming to Call of Duty! This is going to be an official event held on the 12th of July. This is the first time Call of Duty has collaborated with a TV show, which leaves room for an exciting set of future endeavors. The announcement was made through a press conference hosted by Black Noir.
The announcement shows a reporter asking Black Noir if the rumors are true, and whether they are truly coming to Call of Duty, to which Black Noir nods in agreement. Currently, we know that three characters from The Boys are making their way into Call of Duty, namely, Homelander, Starlight and Black Noir.
The new Area being added into Call Of Duty Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II will be located under the castle in Vondel. The area will act as a Gulag for players to explore and play out. The Gulags are a popular feature in Call of Duty as it brings a unique mechanism that’s not present in other games.
The new area is designed to be an abandoned Wine cellar which can be accessed by players through the gulag system or by exploring. If you are an avid Call of Duty player, you might remember how volatile the gulag system is after an update. Plagued with bugs and exploits, every gulag update almost broke the game. It’s interesting to see whether the game will follow the same pattern during the Warzone Season 4 Update as well.
In addition to this, the new Warzone Season 4 update will also include a brand new Weapon and new 6v6 map that is based in Vondel. There is also a new operator that has already arrived with the current patch that players have reacted positively to.
