The update features several new additions and interesting changes.

Diablo 4 patch 1.2.1 comes as a pleasant surprise to us all! Blizzard has just released the update for all the platforms running the game. It’s been just a week since the latest season of Diablo 4, the Season of Blood. The changes that were introduced in the new season were explained in detail by the developers through two separate live streams.

Season 1 was a disaster and we can all agree on that! The changes brought by the previous season left fans disappointed, and to no one’s surprise, we saw a huge drop in the player count for the game across all platforms. The situation escalated to the point where players were able to farm loot within the PVP areas that were previously a hotspot for swindles and ambushes. The lack of content within the game demotivated the players to the point of abandonment. However, it seems that season 2 of Diablo 4 will spice things up for the players as the updates are introducing hearty amounts of new content for players to enjoy. These new additions include 5 new bosses for endgame enthusiasts. Diablo 4 patch 1.2.1 also includes a few hotfixes for the newest issues and bugs reported by players.

The Diablo 4 blog has a post that states all the new changes that were introduced today, but we’ll be going through the most important ones here in detail. There are several quality-of-life changes being implemented which include the highly requested, “Refund all” button for the Paragon board. Remember that time you wanted to test your build-out but got annoyed by the training dummy dying every few turns? They fixed it by adding an unkillable training dummy within the underground rooms of Kyovashad. The blood wells are also dropping more Potent Blood, which is a healthy change.

There are also several additions being made in the form of tooltips and info within the upgrade screen of vampiric powers. This addition is going to make calculations way easier for both new and veteran players alike. A bug that prevented players from getting rewarded with the Reins of the Bloody Liquid Steel Mount has also been fixed.

Even though the player counts are slowly beginning to rise after Diablo 4 patch 1.2.1, the game is still miles behind what it was hyped to be. There was a massive delay in releasing season 2, which sparked another wave of anger amongst the community. This paired with the error-packed promotional video for Season of Blood, showcased the sloppiness of the teams behind Diablo 4.

Players are quite happy with Diablo 4 patch 1.2.1 even though the game is still quite lackluster. Hopefully, the future content drops prove to be better than those before as Diablo 4 is one of the few games that’s still not Pay-2-win.
